Annual Report 2009

The Brief

A client since 2009, Dubai Financial Market (DFM) required an English and Arabic annual report that would accurately and authentically capture a successful year for the leading stock exchange in the region totaling a market cap of $360bn.

Approach

An annual report was conceptualized, designed and produced that clearly communicated strength and confidence, conveyed growth, highlighted important business metrics and outlined its growth in the upcoming year. DFM’s milestones for the year were strategically highlighted in each section of the report as the backdrop that “makes the case”.

10th Year Anniversary Branding

The Brief

To design Dubai Financial Market’s 10th year anniversary logo and all collateral for the gala evening that celebrated and honored its partners and was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of the Emirates Group, amongst others.

Approach

A logo that portrayed success, extraordinary high growth, and the fulfillment of UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision of a well-developed and organised stock exchange and its pioneering role and leadership in developing the regional financial markets. Official invitations, trophies, gift bags and all other event collateral were also designed for the gala dinner.

DFM iVESTOR

The Brief

In April 2010, DFM launched a ‘first of its kind’ global service with the iVESTOR card, a revolutionary and innovative solution enabling retail investors to instantly receive DFM dividends directly into their iVESTOR card. In the near future, iVESTOR cardholders will be able to register and subscribe to IPO’s executed by DFM as well as register and vote at General Meetings via the card.

Approach

iVESTOR logo and identity was created and designed along with all other collateral including the credit card design, introductory packaging, user guide, account statements and stationary among others.
