The brief

Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS), Taaleem’s newest international school in the heart of Jumeira, Dubai opens in September 2010. English will be its first language of instruction, and rue to its international ethos, Arabic will be taught through a creative approach unique in the region.


A brand identity was first created that would establish the strength and communicate the educational viewpoint of the JBS brand. An iconic imagery of an Oak Tree was used to symbolize JBS values: International, pioneering, authority, prosperity and strength, and the execution of the silhouette in Arabic calligraphy emphasizes the Arabic integration of the teaching methods and its pride in its Cultural Heritage. Other collateral are designed are stationary, advertising, educational prospectus and all other supporting collateral.
